Deal included the Basics / Metro stores.		1999 Supervalu, the largest food wholesaler in the U.S., bought Richfood. The deal included the Basics / Metro and Shoppers Food Warehouse stores.		2003 Supervalu began converting the 17-store Metro Food Markets chain to the Shoppers Food Warehouse banner.
